Empire of the Sun, Walking On a Dream Someone gave me this album. It took a while for me to warm up to it, but now I love it. The rest of America must love it, too. More and more Vizio commercials are featuring their songs.

Bloc Party, Silent Alarm This album seems to have been made for driving. Put it on, put down the windows and soak it in. It’s best this way.

Tokyo Police Club, A Lesson In Crime I found this band by accident. They opened at the Cold War Kids show and were jumping around, screaming and pounding on keyboards—so good. I can’t listen to this album without thinking of them like that. I most recently saw them at Back Booth promoting their latest album and didn’t care for it. But these seven songs, straight goodness.

	Radiohead, In Rainbows Tom’s done it again. He’s made an album for me to write to. Buy it, steal it, listen to it. It’s different every time.
	Hot Chip, Warning Electronics. Beats. Goodness.
	Interpol, Our Love to Admire Saw these dudes at Madison Square Garden, nearly froze to death and consequently own a Interpol hoodie because of it. Still, totally worth it.
	Liam Finn, I’ll Be Lightning Because sometimes you need music that you’ve never heard before.
